Here is a list and summary of sponsors for advertisers in our MediaMe newspaper. I have listed the actual sponsors and the possible sponsors who look promising.

Sponsors

Mike Mason and Sarah Barrow - Lincoln University - £100 'half a page advert, logo on the front of the newspaper and contact details on the back'

Simon Bates (The junction) - £350 - half a page advert and logo on the front of the newspaper.

Possible sponsors

Jon Wardle - Bournemouth University (£50 advert looks promising)

Robert Carlton - OCR (£50 possibility)

Jenny Grahame - Media Magazine (£50 possibility, maybe more)

Overall Cost

I am now going to work out the overall cost of the sponsors and advertisers if we were to get all of them sponsoring us, and the minimum advert cost is £50 for a quarter page advert.

Lincoln - £100

Simon Bates - £350

Bournemouth University - £50

Robert Carlton - £50

Media Magazine - £50

100 + 350 + 50 + 50 + 50 = £600

Therefore, the overall cost if we were to get all the potential sponsors would be £600, and the cost of the newspaper to print is £500 (500 copies for £1 each) so we have already exceeded our costs needed if this happens. However, we cannot assume that every sponsor will get back to us and they want an article so we cannot assume this as the real overall budget.
